Even if you choose to utilize some cheats and exploits along the way, understanding the following tips for Monopoly Go will serve you well in the long run.

Claim free gifts immediately – Free gifts in the Shop don’t reset their 8-hour countdown clock until you claim them. Also note that free gifts and Quick Wins also provide extra event currency on occasion, like Peg-E tokens and pickaxes for the treasure mini-game.

Keep the landmarks page empty – Don’t build any landmarks until you have enough money to complete the board. This will prevent people from performing shutdowns on your landmarks. If you look at the price to upgrade the first landmark on the left and multiply it by 100, that will be the amount of money you need to complete the entire board.

Wait for Wheel Boost or Sticker Boom before building – Gaining extra dice and Monopoly Stickers without any additional effort is amazing. Look at various sites for the game to find out the upcoming schedule of boosts, and time things right so that you take advantage of every Wheel Boost and Sticker Boom event. You can also wait for these boosts to appear before claiming sticker packs as milestones and rewards in events.

Keep friends that won’t bankrupt you – Players on your friend's list will naturally target you and steal money through bank heists when landing on railroad spaces. Some players will steal frequently or have a high multiplier, so you may want to prune those particular players from your friends list if you see that their heists completely drain you of your money.

Use trading communities for sticker trades – There are several Discord communities dedicated to trading and have reputation systems to ensure that people don’t steal your stickers. The new Safe Trading feature should take care of these concerns, but being a part of these communities does make it easier and faster to find traders.

Take advantage of High Roller events – Once you have enough dice banked, High Roller events will allow you to roll with a x1000 multiplier. If you position yourself on the board correctly (this means targeting a tile and waiting until you’re 6-8 spaces away), you can have a high chance of landing on a space that gives you a lot of event points.

Look for Free Parking Dice x2 events – Check for FPD events that award twice the amount of dice (or more) for landing on certain spaces, like corners and tax/utility tiles. If you use High Roller boosts, and land on them with a x1000 multiplier, you’ll get a huge amount of bonus dice once you hit Free Parking.
